Husky on Wave Arts products:
“For me, the quality of FinalPlug lies in the fact that you can make it work a bit without the sound changing in a bad way.. much like good analog compressors and limiters. I like the fact that is HAS a sound, and for the more uptempo – in your face type of mixes, this is the only choice for me. I’ve also used it on quite a few vocals on the upcoming Elvis Costello record – again, for that upfront sound. Extremely useful.
The best feature on MultiDynamics is the ‘adjust all’ parameter. The fact that i can dial in the threshold on each band separately, and then use the ‘all’ feature to increase or decrease the overall compression, while maintaining the balance of the individual bands is worth the price of admission alone! This is the single most lacking feature on all the other ones i’ve tried, and combined with the easy interface and quick user preset access makes this one a must have. It has made it’s way onto drum sub-mixes, bass, snare, vocals as well as whole mixes.”
