Why can't I register the plug-ins in Apple's Final Cut Pro?
Since FCP versions previous to X do not support viewing of Audio Unit user interfaces, it requires you to open up the plug-in in a host like Garageband (or any other host that supports AU, VST, MAS or RTAS) to perform the registration procedure.
