64 bit versions?

Are there any chances to see native 64 bit versions of the plugins?
With the upcoming 64 bit Konkakt version and Sonar 8, all I’ll be missing is a native trackplug to be able to run fully in 64 bits.

We do want to support 64 bit, nothing to speak of in the near future though.  But we are already beginning to discuss the issues and plan for it.

That is great news, I was going to ask Santa for trackplug 64 bits but it looks like it might not happen in time wink

This is a great surprise, and this was *very* fast!
I wish NI had the same concept of near future than you do.

Hi,

Any news on how the beta’s are working?

And any news on when the official 64-bit release might be?

i have just setup a Vista 64-bit system and am waiting for some feedback before i install the beta’s. The 32-bit versions are performing ok using bitbridge in cubase 5.

Thanks

Give the beta versions a try, no one has posted any bugs - although they are called beta - they seem as good as release versions!

Hi! smile

I tried the BETA 64bit-DEMO in SONAR 8 64bit. BUG!!!!!

TRACK PLUG, crash when you change the EQ setting——> change “EQ type”?

I will wait to buy WAVE ART products until they go full NATIVE 64bit support!
And I have friends that will do the same so my questions is; “WAVE ART”, when are going to official support VISTA 64 and Windows 7 meaning; “NATIVE 64bit”-versions of your plugins?

Money will sure come your way when you finally make official 64bit versions..

Hi Freddie,

Can you tell me what audio host you are using?  I was not able to reproduce the problem with Sonar and Vista 64.

EDIT: Never mind, I see in the other thread you are using Sonar 8.3…  I will investigate further…

Hi Rob!smile

That was really fast to get support around here at WAVEART FORUM! I really like this customer based support you have WAVEART.
Real world class support!!! Thumbs up for you Rob and WAVEART!!!
wink

Yes, I use SONAR 8.3.1 64bit producer with WINDOWS VISTA Ultimate 64bit.
The BUG, it crash when changing to example: “Vintage High Shelf”, “Resonant High shelf”, “High Pass” and so on. And especially if you change a band that you used previously or “sounds” playing thru the plugin. Love to hear upcoming news about 64bit…

Best Regards
Freddie

Rob! =)

Tried the betas again in SONAR 8.5.1 64bit too!

Still crash when you change the EQ-typ of the Track Plugin?
Master Restoration 64 bit BETA doesn’t even get installed right? Crash and you get a error message: “It hasn’t get installed right?”.

I don’t know, but I think you at WaveARTs should put more time on this trying to go “Full” official support of Native 64bit of all your products.

I’ve fixed the bug that causes crashes when selecting menu items.  We’re trying to get some things resolved for the next Power Suite and Master Restoration updates, and new 64 bit installers will hopefully be coming soon after that.

Hi Rob! =)

Thanks for the new 64bit Power Suite Pack. I can download it now!
wink
I can install it and everything seem okay in VISTA 64bit system.
The Problem is that SONAR 8.5 64bit or SONAR 8.3.1 64bit doesn’t recognize the *.dll files? It doesn’t show up in SONAR Plug-in Manager at all? I have tried to re-scan and change to other new folder then “default”,( Cakewalk/VSTPlugins/) nothing makes the plugins show inside SONAR?

I can see them all physical on the disk…the VST,*.dll-files but there are all invisible to SONAR?
I have no clue why? I can’t get to another conclusion then that it must be something wrong with your new 64bit VST-dll files?
