Ok this is a very small change:
it would be nice if trackplug’s compressor could be on “Peak” instead of “RMS” by default (RMS is mostly used for mastering).

The other one would be to have an eq like Voxengo’s one with a “Pre-Post” setting: low shelf and high shelf eq are processed “Post” while band/notch are processed “Pre”.

and....

How about sidechain capability in Trackplug for de-essing, etc.?  I asked about this one about a year ago...any chance it’s still on the way?  This is the only thing that seperates Trackplug from MH Channel Strip IMO.  Please, please....?

I just wanted to put my vote in for side-chain support.

Keep an eye out for a significant announcement on our website later today.  grin

But regarding sidechaining in particular, the plan is for TrackPlug to support sidechain EQ at first (with the input to the plug-in), and eventually sidechaining an external input as well.

Wonderful news. I like what I see so far and I look forward to more details. I’ll be upgrading as soon as Power Suite 5 is available.

External side-chain?

Any idea when this feature will be available?

It’s on the slate sometime during the next few months, but we will likely limit it to plug-in formats (at least at first) that support external sidechaining as part of the plug-in format (like RTAS, AU, MAS).  VST and DX aren’t (yet) well suited for external sidechaining, although some plug-ins have workarounds for it.
