Parallel Compression!

hey Wave Arts you are amazing, just one thing: there is no easy way to do actual parallel compression with trackplug, or any plug for that matter. parallel compression in logic or protools requires bussing and multiple tracks, very awkward for mixing and mastering. if trackplug had this feature, it would be in a class of its own. it seems like a mix knob would do the trick, to blend heavily compressed signals with identical uncompressed or lightly compressed signals. could be a wet/dry knob or mix between the 2 compressors. i love the sound of parallel compression, and i think this would become an essential desktop mastering tool if it were included. any plans to develop this?

this is a really great idea… I also use parallel compression a lot, and having the feature built into track plug would be amazing, and would save a lot of hassel in logic.

I really would like to see parallel compression for Multidynamics. I love to use the PSP stuff, because there is always parallel compression.

Hi,

I just noticed that this topic as about a year old now, so I thought it was worth a bump. I would still LOVE to have a dry/wet mix for the compression, for parallel compression.

It would seriously make trackplug everything I want it to be.

Pleaseeeee!!!! :-D

no thoughts on this? It would seem to be such a simple addition, and oh so useful!

I cant tell you how often I use parallel compression, and how cluttered my sessions get with aux’s.

Pleaseeee please consider this seriously!

I just saw the press release for power suite 5.40.

Still now dry/wet mix for parrellel compression?

Was really hoping for this :(
