I would use Trackplug MUCH more if you could save Default.

The compressor in trackplug is great - the rest of it is “ok”.

I guess this is always the problem when making a channel-strip type plug.

PLEEEEEEEESE make the next version of trackplug have the option of saving a user defined default.

For me it would be 1 compressor with no latency adding anywhere.

Or even better, how about a freebie for us registers customers - Just the compressor module in it’s own plug. wink

Kind regards

I am confused...you can save your settings in all Wave Arts plug-ins…

1. Set everything the way you want.
2. Click Preset and a drop-down menu will appear.
3. Click Save As…
4. Name your preset and click OK.

Then simply click Preset, select User, then select the preset you just created to recall and load it.

but you can’t save the defaul preset for it to load on opening - by which time the plugin has decided to add latency to the audio path - annoying.

I would guess there’s a way to use a custom setting as the default by editing something...hmmm.

Ahhh…

Maybe I was thinking of the Version 4 plug-ins, where you could edit the XX4Presets.txt file which had the “Default” settings listed at the beginning of the file? This the kind of functionality you guys are working on?

yeah - i’ve already been through the registry, looking at txt files - trying to find the presets somewhere, but they must be in the .exe

Kind regards

I use the Mac MAS version of these plug-ins and in each the factory Presets file is indeed inside the executable.

Kind regards.
