Hi,

I have trackplug inserted on an audio track after a instrument plugin in Pro Tools.

The trackplug output meter (with everything turned off inc output gain) seems to consistently show the signal having a peak of about 2db higher than the signal level shown on the track fader.

Is there a known reason for this?

I seemed to notice a similar discrepency just now on my PC Pro Tools LE setup. Our meters and the host meters seem to line up correctly in other plug-in formats/hosts, so there’s confidence that our meter code is working properly. So I don’t have an answer yet regarding Pro Tools but we will be looking into it.
