hi,

we are very satisfied with trackplug 5. the sound is amazing and the features are great but we noticed are strange bug using the plug in with nuendo 3.2 on a mac g5 dual 2,7ghz (osx tiger 10.4.3).
at first we created a stereo audio channel and place a wav file on it.
we opened a instance of trackplug at the first insert of a nuendo channel (channel 1 in our example) and copy it to the buffer (button on the left side of the audio inspector). then we copied the plug in from the buffer to another channel (channel 2 in our example) with the same wav file on it.
listen to the sound of the wavfile on the second channel (mute channel 1) and you`ll find out that the trackplug eq work unbalanced.
do you known this bug?
will there be an update in the next weeks?

regards

Have not heard of this problem before, but we will look into it… thanks for the report.

When you say “unbalanced” do you mean the EQ settings seem to be different, or one track is louder than the other?

trackplug 5 trouble

hi,

unbalanced mean that only the left side are processed by the trackplug eq. at the right side of the stereo signal there´s no eq processing noticeably.
i´ve tryed to reproduce the bug once more and i´ve find out that the error isn´t reproduceable in arrangements with few plug ins turned on.i can reproduce the bug only in arrangements with many different plug ins inserted in a lot of trackinserts or sends like channelinserts, masterinserts and auxsends.
its unbelievable that the bug doesn´t appear if i save the arrangement (after the bug was appeared) and open it then again immediately.
if i do that at stated above the bug is dissapeared.
could it be able that nuendo is buggy ??
do you need any ohter information to reproduce that bug ?
we would able to send you the nuendo projectfile if you want.

thanks for your endeavours,

regards

OK I see what you are talking about.  If you disable and reenable the plug-in (if Nuendo has a button for that) after you copy it, does that also fix it?

We have come across situations in Cubase or Nuendo where the input/output configuration doesn’t get reset properly (i.e. it runs in mono when it should be stereo, etc.)  I’ll look into it and see if it is something we can fix on our end.

No that doesn´t fix the problem.
