Low brickwall filter doesn’t seem to do much.

Using the low brickwall filter and following it with a spectrogram… it seems if I set it at 80hz, I can’t tell the difference, ... the 20 hz level doesn’t change. If I move the filter up to 200hz, I start to see an appreciable difference.

The high filter works as expected.

Am I missing something?

I just did a few tests and the brickwall seems to be working correctly. Can you tell me what sampling rate are you using, and what spectrogram are you using? It could be a problem in the spectrogram.

Well, I retested it with a white noise generator, and it worked exactly as it should. Either I was confused or my host could have been wigging out (as it does from time to time). I used Voxengo Span and EAS Inspector and repeatedly turned the filter on and off while looping some audio.

Anyway, all is well… sorry to throw up a red flag.
