When switching presets in masterverb, I am getting crashes in both live 5.02 and energyxt (haven’t tried protools mpowered yet) It has happened in trackplug, but not with any frequency. (both versions are 5.08, windows xppro, amd 64 4000+, 2 gigs ram,)

Actally, everything just dissapears (starting to call it the “poof” crash) and live will ask if you wish to reload the interupted session.

Anyone else noticing this?

Do you get any sort of Live crash log you could email us?

Probably…......but I don’t know where to find it :oops:

It would be in your username’s /Library/Logs/Crash Reporter folder… each application that crashed has it’s own log.

Is that xp? I can’t find that on my puter…....but a search seemed to imply that it is osx

Sorry that was for Mac… you don’t get crash logs on Windows.

Is there a consistent sequence of events that causes the crash to happen every time?

-Open an app (live 5.02/energy xt 1.36 are the two I use the most)..........add masterverb

-have something recorded, playback

-select the presets back and fourth

Result, app disapears, no microsoft “unexpected quit”

reproducable ..........about 10%........it’s really intermitent

Since it’s so infrequent, you’ll probably just need to put this one on ice and see if anyone else starts having it.
