How about an attenuator at the output of the EQ section in TP? Sometimes I’ll get a good tone going into the compressor section but it’ll be too hot if I just want some light compression. Re-eq’ing would change the tone. What I’ll do is attenuate the output of the plugin and place another TP in series to use the compressor sections.
TP is on pretty much every channel, except for some speciality tracks. for all intents and purposes, it’s my channel strip.
