hi - i was wondering what wavearts strategy regarding the following is:

1) 64bit OS support (Win XPx64 & VistaX64 specifically)
2) VST 2.4/3.0 compatibility

I’d really like to run your plugs inside Sonar 6x64 on Vista x64, whether they are 64bit directx or vst just so long as it’s a genuine 64 bit siganl path, and was wondering how long i will have to wait :wink:

We don’t have a definitive timetable yet but would definitely be looking to incorporate true 64 bit compatibility sometime next year.  As far as sound quality is concerned, there really won’t be a discernable difference between 32 and 64 bit, if that’s a concern.

Our VST plug-ins are already using VST 2.4, once 3.0 SDK is available we will of course plan to incorporate that update.
