Power Suite 5 demo failure in DP 5.12

MacBookPro/Intel Core2Duo 2.2/ OS10.4.10/4 gig Ram
Digital Performer 5.12
I downlaoded the Power Suite 5 demo (v5.35) and ran the installer (3 times).  The plugs appear to be in my Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components folder and in the Library/Audio/Plug-ins/MAS folder, but when I launch DP, the plugs do not show up as choices in my inserts (or anywhere else).
What have I done wrong?
Thank you,
Steve Nathan

DP will not show the AU versions if MAS are present, but if the MAS ones aren’t showing up either (they won’t be in a submenu, just show up with the rest of the DP plug-ins) there is some problem.  What audio hardware and sample rate are you using?

I’m on a MacBookPro 2.2 Core2Duo, 4gig, OS10.4.10
MOTU 828 and Micro Express (audio and midi),  LaCie FW800 external drives for recording and library.  Everything is 24/48
Thanks for helping,
Steve

Also,  I downloaded the demo of WaveSurround and it shows up and works fine.

Couple things to try to help narrow the problem down… if you change the audio hardware to Built In Audio do the plug-ins show up?  Or the sample rate?

I tried switching to built in audio and I tried 44.1 but still no sign of them.  I also tried installing some other demos from PSP Audioware and they all showed up (and like I said before, your Wave Surround shows up).  Should I try the version 4 download??

Do you happen to know if your OS X account is User or Administrator?

I’m not 100% sure. How do I tell?  I’m the only one who uses this computer so however it came from Apple, I haven’t changed anything.  Whenever I run any installer, I have to enter my password first.  Is that “Administrator”?

Not sure what I did differently this time, but I got them all to show up.
Thanks for trying to solve whatever my problem was.

Strange…. they all pass validation and work fine in DP on our systems.  Can you email me the “MOTU AU Test Results.txt” file (in your Documents folder) at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)?
