Hello!
I have this problem with TP 4.20 in DP5.13:

I have 12 Drums tracks, each have a TP4 in the mixer.
If the soundbite start at the beginning of the song, I have CPU spike at the top of the song but no audible problem.

If I cut the soundbites (Drum will start at mes 55 IE) When all the soundbites comes in, I have a CPU spike and a pop/crackle sound! (even it seams to stop the playback for a really short time).
All the plugins are in “realtime” mode in the mini menu.

If I bypass TP on these tracks, no spike or noise, TP4 is the guilty in this case.

It’s a small project (less than 30 tracks) , I have a powerfull mac (octo 2.8G with 4G RAM) and a fast HD (10k raptor)

My work around was to not cut the soundbites (they start at top of song) and I use a volume automation to mute the drums until mes 55!

I do have a MAS version for TP4.20 but I have no time right now to make test to change and copy all the TP instances.

Thanks for your help

David

PS If I have time, I will make a small movie of the prob if you like?

Also DP5 using TP5…. I am really disappointed and hope it will be resolved soon. My clicks are very audible. At first I thought it was my edits, but then I noticed that it was only the tracks with TP5. I have plenty of cpu(8), and 8g of ram, Using OS 10.5.2, so I don’t think power the problem. So, it’s not only TP4 that has this issue. I hope someone can find a solution!
