It seems as though everything is fine as long as a don’t try to open an effects window for TP 5.40. Here’s the rest of my system:

MDD 1.25ghz G4 MP
OS 10.4.11
2 gb RAM
PCI-424
DP 5.11
UAD-1
QT 7.5

I’ll try upgrading DP to 5.13 and see if that helps. If anyone knows of any compatibility issues with the above and TrackPlug 5.40, though, I’d love to hear about them

Thought I’d file a follow-up report. It is not simply the opening of an FX window, as it turns out. It will crash unpredictably but soon after the file is open. I deleted DP prefs and re-examined AUs. It sees no problem with TrackPlug 5. When I remove that plug from the components folder, however, everything is fine. Maybe I should re-install the plug???
