Trackplug being my Go-To channel strip, because it is excellent, I would like to see a gate “holdoff” feature to guarantee that the gate stays open for some minimum amount of time before it can start to close again. I’m trying to tighten up a bass guitar track by keying it off of the kick but I can’t get it dialed in due to the bass playing some longer notes and the gate starting to close too soon which messes with the bass dynamics in an unpleasant manner. If I could guarantee that the gate would be open for the duration of an 8th note (389ms in this case) my problem would be solved as it would re-trigger before the gate had time to start closing on the longer notes.
