Frequently Asked Questions
How can I register plugs in Edius after the evaluation expires?
Using Edius on Windows, there’s a problem that our plug-in timeout expiration window does not receive mouse events, hence Edius hangs waiting for user to click YES or NO. On some machines, a workaround is to hit the spacebar or enter key. This causes the YES button to be pressed. A browser window will open to the Wave Arts website, but the dialog will close, Edius returns to life and the plug-in window appears so you can proceed with registration. If this workaround fails, press CTRL+ALT+Delete to launch the Task Manager and kill Edius. Then you must register the plug-in using a different host. We recommend Audacity as it is free and works well with our plugs.
