Frequently Asked Questions
Why is demo timed out after successfully registering?
On MacOS, some users report an issue where a Wave Arts plug-in will register successfully, but then report that the demo has expired. The problem seems to happen after updating MacOS or after migrating from one MacOS system to another. We believe that during the update/migration, MacOS is changing the permissions on the Wave Arts folders and then the plug-in is not able to save the license file. The easiest way to fix is as follows:
1. Delete the folder “/Library/Application Support/Wave Arts”, then reinstall the plug-in, and then register the plug-in.
