The algorithms behind Wave Arts audio plug-ins were designed by Dr. Bill Gardner, an audio signal processing expert with over 20 years of experience. Our engineers are also musicians who strive for great sound quality.

Our plug-ins are CPU efficient because we take great care in designing the signal processing algorithms, and we employ an innovative switching architecture that runs only the plug-in components that are active. So for example, if you switch off an EQ section, you save some CPU.

Each plug-in user interface is clear and well organized, containing just the parameters you need. Where possible we include graphical displays that help visualize the algorithm and its sonic behavior. We have an excellent preset manager built-in to each plug-in.

Our plug-ins work in all the common native Mac and Windows formats: AU, VST, MAS, DX and RTAS (for use in hosts such as Pro Tools, Logic, Digital Performer, Cubase, Sonar, Live, Final Cut Pro, Peak, Audition, Sound Forge and many more).
